Final Message to the Players, and Fanbase,
With the sudden, though not totally unexpected, news of FusionFall's imminent closure this Thursday the 29th of August, the players have begun taking a hard look at the years the MMO has given us. In this week of memories and our last round of fun with near-unlimited money and power in-game, we must take this chance, our final chance, to collect the data from the game.
As noticed by many people, many of the pages on this wiki are sorely lacking full, or proper, information pertaining to the game. Specifically, many of the mission entries are incorrect, half-complete, out of date, or simply not there at all. Many are un-catagorized. Since joining this wiki at the beginning of this summer, I have made it my goal to promote and correct this, taking it upon myself to add as much game data as I can gather to the mission entries, as well as other pages. Many have stood with me in this challenging endeavor, but now, I ask the community as a whole one final favor.
In these last few days, when all of us are the highest level, capable of free mobility anywhere we please within the game, the easiest access some of us have ever had, I simply ask for help. I ask that the remaining devoted players go through their archives of missions: nano, world, and guide, and complete the database here. It may seem fruitless, and it may seem needless, but I will respond with this: the only needless and pointless thing in this scenario is the waste of this creative, interactive, and altogether fun information. This data from missions, chacacter interactions, speech, plans, these are all creative works that will soon be lost in only a bare few days.
So I ask for everyone's help. Everyone is able to help, and with enough people, this is surely possible to accomplish, even in this limited time frame. I am only one person, one player. I cannot possibly assemble all of the data myself. I will do my best, as I fear my message will not be enough to move the minds of those surrounding me, but I fear I am not capable of getting it all. I am not perfect. Nobody is. But together, we, the players, are more capable than solo players. We all know that.
Though this message is long and tiresome, I feel as though it is my last plea, and it should be long, and meticulous. So go fourth, the last of our kind, the last of the FusionFall players, and save this information that will soon be lost to us, most likely for all time. Please, save this information. Don't leave something so wonderful as this wiki half-finished.
