Townsville Park is an area in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall and its fan revivals. It is a location in Downtown that is home to the local park. Following Planet Fusion's invasion however, the Area has been torn asunder and become heavily infected with Fusion Matter. The local Providence outpost can also be found here.

Area description[]

Townsville Park is an overall gloomy and broken area. It lies west of Townsville Center.

Townsville Park is one of the most infected areas in Downtown. There are also numerous Kids Next Door operatives and Plumbers around the area. According to Numbuh One and Grandpa Max, Townsville Park is in such a sorry state that it serves as an example of what Earth will look like if they do not fight back against Lord Fuse. In the center of Townsville Park lies its Infected Zone, the Fissure, which is a long crater below the surface with Fusion Matter swirling above it. Fusion Blowfishes were also roaming this area during the Mother's Day event as well.

The Past[]

In the Past, following Planet Fusion's invasion of Earth, the Infected Zone that would be called The Fissure would be formed in the center of the Townsville Park, creating a massive crater. To make matters worse, Lord Fuse would attempt to awaken an unknown creature inside the Fissure. The Scotsman, Max Tennyson, and Numbuh One soon established a base of operations in the area, monitoring the intense infection of Townsville Park by Fusion Matter.

Later, the Providence HQ was set up in the back end of Townsville Park to monitor the sewers and control the infection of the area, with Rex and Bobo Haha taking up residence there. Eventually, Dynamite Rats were discovered in the Townsville Park sewer system. Initially, Rex and Bobo were trapped inside, but they were freed by the Avatar.

Origin[]

Cartoon-Townsville-Park

Townsville Park, from The Powerpuff Girls.

Townsville Park originates from the 1998 American superhero animated television series The Powerpuff Girls. In that media, it is a public park inside the city of Townsville.

In the series, Townsville Park is presented as a public area that is frequently visited by the citizens of Townsville. However, while lush, idyllic and beautiful, the Park also hosts a tall, dormant volcano in its middle that houses Mojo's Lair on top of it. That lair was erected in Townsville Park by the Powerpuff Girls themselves due to the early machinations of Mojo Jojo.
