Somehow, Fusion Demongo possessed a shred of Aku's Shadow. I've encountered this before, in Fuse's Lair. You must destroy these pieces of shadow!

• Go to Fuse's Lair.

All along, I thought Demongo was working alone. But if Fusion Demongo collected a shred of Aku's shadow from him, Demongo may yet again be working with my greatest enemy. If that is the case, and Aku is here, we could all be in grave danger. Go to Fuse's Lair and wait for further instructions.

Defeat Great Shellslugs:

• Shadow Fragment

Defeat Meteoric Guardians:

• Shadow Fragment

Defeat Scoria Cephalapods:

• Shadow Fragment

Go to the Dark Glade Infected Zone

Samurai Jack: This is Fuse's Lair! The heart of his infection, and a dangerous place, indeed.
Samurai Jack: You must recover a fragment of Aku's shadow from the Great Shellslugs.

• Defeat the Great Shellslugs.

I have seen shadow fragments in Fuse's Lair before. We must recover these and destroy them so Aku cannot return to our timeline. You will have to fight Fuse's minions to get the shadow fragments back.

Samurai Jack: Good. Now you must find and defeat the Meteoric Guardians.

• Defeat the Meteoric Guardians.

Samurai Jack: Excellent. Finally, you must take on the Scoria Cephalopods.
Samurai Jack: Defeat them and you will have all the shadow fragments.

Samurai Jack: Very good. With shadow fragments in hand, you must proceed to the Dark Tree.
Samurai Jack: Throw them into the tree, and they will be destroyed.

• Destroy Shadow Fragments

Now that you have four shadow fragments, you must go to the Dark Tree Clearing. This is the only thing that can destroy those shadow fragments. We must not let Aku gain a foothold in our timeline.

Samurai Jack: Good. The shadow fragments are no more.
Samurai Jack: Now please talk to Demongo. Is that demon conspiring with Aku?

• Talk to Demongo

Demongo: I cannot say if Aku has employed my assistance. All I will tell you this: Aku is not here, but he is close. And he is watching.

Samurai Jack: Very well. Leave Demongo and return to me.

• Talk to Jack.

That Demongo is not a demon to toy with. Leave him be and return to me at once.

You are truly a great warrior. I fear that Aku may be lurking somewhere in the shadows. But with you help, we will be ready to meet any challenge. I thank you.

Samurai Jack: You have performed admirably. We must keep a watchful eye at all times. If Aku is near, then Fuse may be the least of our problems. Take this weapon to aid you in your future quests.
