Orchid Bay is an area in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall and its fan revivals. It is a location on the coast of Downtown, and the home town of Juniper Lee.

Area description[]

Orchid Bay is a cozy and urban coastal district. It lies south of Marquee Row and west of Bravo Beach.

Orchid Bay has a large dock with many ships which works as the main base here, including an area in the center with various shopkeepers, and a Whoosh dock. Other features of Orchid Bay include a shipping port, a lighthouse, a boardwalk and several buildings. Grim can be found in the center of the docking area while Candy Pirates can be found all over the same general area, serving either as interactable NPCs or the aforementioned Shopkeepers. In Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall, Finn and Johnny Bravo can also be found here.

Further to the east inside the mainland lies Orchid Bay's Infected Zone, Cutts and Bruises Skate Park, with Mario Superior located next to the warp gate leading inside said zone.

In addition to the above, a giant iceberg appears offshore of Orchid Bay's beach. From the beach, one can travel across the sea to the foot of the iceberg. From there, here is a somewhat steep pathway up to a door on top of the iceberg, which has snow coming down around it, where players can warp into Ice King's Castle.

Fusion Invasion[]

The Past[]

In the Past, the lighthouse in Orchid Bay would be maintained by the Candy Pirates, actively trying to call in reinforcements from far away lands.

Operating from his Secret Lair in Orchid Bay, Fusion Eduardo was put in charge of capturing sea animals for experiments with Fusion Matter. Due to being a Fusion based on a being made of Imaginary Energy however, he could not resist doing at least one good deed. To sabotage his own operations, he got some orange chalk and wrote the message "Big secreto under el boardwalk" on a small chalkboard, which he then broke in half. He then gave one piece to the Master Tentakillers and hid the other one in Cutts and Bruises Skate Park.

Origin[]

Cartoon-Orchid-Bay

Orchid Bay, from The Life and Times of Juniper Lee.

Orchid Bay originates from the 2005 American animated television series The Life and Times of Juniper Lee. In that media, it is the main setting of the series. It is presented as a coastal beach town on the western coast of America, and serves as the hometown of Juniper Lee and her family.

Existing in a world where magic and its creatures are all around, yet invisible to normal people, Orchid Bay acts as a nexus of some sort for all magic. As a result, the town is a prime target for malicious forces and a hotspot for magical incidents. For centuries, Orchid Bay has been protected by the Te Xuan Ze―the chosen human guardian of the hidden magical world and a vital link between the worlds. To aid in the protection of Orchid Bay and keep the Te Xuan Ze from shirking their duty, the magical veil that keeps the worlds of magic and men separate manifests around the town as a force field that keeps evil out and the Te Xuan Ze inside.
