“  Your training is complete. You have the skills you will need, you have your first Nanos, you have an awesome haircut! High atop Mt. Neverest all that stands between you and the war with Fuse is ... Graduation!  ”

– Training Guide - Graduation[1]

Mt. Neverest is an area in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall and its fan revivals. It is a mountain summit with a significance to the Earth's superheroes. During Planet Fusion's invasion of the world, it has become the place where the cadets for the Academy arrive for their graduations before joining the war against Lord Fuse and his minions.

Area description[]

Mt. Neverest is a mountain peak with a platform on top of it that is set high above the level of the rest of the Earth. There are statues of various heroes surrounding the area that include the following individuals:

From the warp entrance a long walkway, along with a number of Cartoon Network personages lined up, leads to a massive pavilion over a round table with floating chairs, around of which there is a circular path where the various Guides and their adherents stand. Various notable items from their respective medias can be found around the Guides:

The Past[]
“  Lady Rainicorn has graciously agreed to get you from Mt. Neverest to Sector V and Finn is along for the ride. Choose your Guide and take the first step into the next phase of the fight against Fuse! Next stop: Sector V and Beyond!  ”

– Training Guide - Lady Rainicorn and Beyond[1]

As the war with Planet Fusion intensified, Mt. Neverest became an area used for graduation from the Academy, the third part of the Avatar's training for the fight against Lord Fuse. Here, various individuals would congratulate the Avatar for completing the Academy, before Computress sent them on several Missions to meet the four Guides (Ben, Edd, Dexter, and Mojo Jojo). After picking one, the Avatar would travel to Sector V with the aid of Lady Rainicorn, with the help of Major Glory and Finn, and begin the true fight against Planet Fusion.

Mt. Neverest, from The Powerpuff Girls.

Mt. Neverest originates from the 1998 American superhero animated television series The Powerpuff Girls. In that media, it is the meeting place and headquarters of Association of World Super Men (A.W.S.M.), an organization of male-only superheroes.

In an attempt to join the A.W.S.M., the Powerpuff Girls went to Mt. Neverest. Despite the girls being put through tests that they passed with flying colors, the A.W.S.M. refused to let them join them because of their men-only policy. However, after the Powerpuff Girls saved the organization from Mascumax when he attacked Mt. Neverest, the A.W.S.M. ditched their sexist policies and renamed themselves the "Society of Associated Puffketeers".

Trivia[]

  • Mt. Neverest is a pun on Mount Everest.
  • Several glitches have been encountered on Mt. Neverest:
    • Many players became trapped on Mount Neverest after warping to buddies in the Academy. When players encountered this problem, it became necessary for them to email the FusionFall management, asking for a relocation. The FusionFall team eventually fixed the problem and players could no longer warp to a friend in the Academy.
    • There had been several occasions on which Mojo Jojo had been absent from Mt. Neverest. At length, this bug was fixed.
  • Mt. Neverest was meant to appear in a planned expansion, but it was reused for the Academy. It is unknown if the area shown in the game is the complete area or only a part of it.
  • An unused monster called the Column Colossus would have appeared here.
