My thinking was that having them step down would free up room for additions to the team in the future. And since the wiki community has shrunk considerably, I believe it would be fitting to keep the total # of admins down to at least 3-4 users.
On a sidenote, I'm currently working on a new skin. It will be slightly different, but definitely more reminiscent of the official FusionFall site design and the in-game interface. This'll also require me to tweak some templates; so heads up!
Visibly, they're just little tweaks: font, font sizes, link colors, etc. Overall, the site won't look too different, if that's what you're wondering. Behind the scenes, I'll be working on new templates to make the content more interactive and keep it looking as neat as possible.
You may or may not be aware that Wikia majorly modified their interface a few months ago. The Portability initiative is a primary example. And since the game is back, we'll definitely be experiencing more traffic. I'd like to make the site accessible on as many platforms as possible. You would agree with that, right?
But I'm stumped on how to handle the level categories. :/ How should we address the level displacement caused by the Academy update? I was thinking of adding "(Pre-Academy", "(Post-Academy)" for distinguishment.
I thought it'd be courteous to provide an update on my progress. Currently, I'm experimenting with a few new templates and colorways on my test wiki, and I've completed a decent amount of work. I recently changed the color scheme for the wiki's skin; I think it looks a bit "livelier" now. Shortly, I'll be adding a code for links to change color when you hover over them.
Truthfully, I'm learning the CSS coding language while simultaneously working on new features, so you can expect more radio silence from me, but I'll try to provide updates as often as I can.
The URL fusionfalllegacy.wikia.com is owned by and redirects to this wikia. We would like to transfer ownership of the URL to our current wikia for Fusionfall Legacy, which currently has the domain fusion-fall-legacy.wikia.com. We just need permission and the a-ok from some of y'all admins here to get that done. Thanks.
So basically, TheTeoStar and I are working together on renovating the main page, but we've reached a bit of an issue that we need your help with. Basically, we are trying to edit some templates to make them blend in better with the main page (e.x. removing the grey outline from the Game Elements Portal), but in order to do that, the Wikia.css page needs to be edited (I think, correct me if I'm wrong) by an admin. Here is a link to the discussion; more specifically, what I believe needs to be added to the Wikia.css page in order to do what we are trying to do.
Yes. It is legal. They said that as long as cartoon network has no problem with it, they can do it. They can't call it FusionFall tho and can't add the exact same music and stuff. But they can change it and stuff.
Information from FusionFall Legacy cannot be put into the pages here due to the entire game and its content being fanmade. This wiki is for canon information only as decided long ago with the creation of Fanonfall wiki.
That jerkish little kid who got banned once? That was me! =D Nice to see you and I apologize for everything I did when I was a kid. I can't remember if I apologized so I'm gonna do it now to put my concience to rest. I hope we can now be friends!
Oh, that's VERY true. I'm glad to see you're still around. Have you ever heard of this thing called "Fusionfall Legacy"? They're a group that says that they're remaking Fusionfall AND has proof that they're actually making progress. Here's a link to the forums. They're not finished yet, but they're making a TON of progress. http://interact.modulatornetwork.com/FFL/index.php If you've already heard of this, sorry for wasting your time. XD
stop me if you've heard of this one before, wildstar. If you haven't look it up on google go to the first link then on the top of the page there should be a button that says media click it then click videos then lastly watch the second video from the top and tell me if you like it.
I did bring it up, but NinjaDevil777 was not given a warning for that exact comment. Nobody other than me seemed to care about it. Also he said this:
Well I think it's cool if you think it's lame wiki contributor, then leave this wiki!!!
I KNOW the wiki contributor was just stating his opinion and I was defending him. Your reasons are completly invalid to the situation at hand. I also brought it up, the only one who helped to do something about it was RG. Fusion because I have quit this wiki already and have nothing to lose, im going to say something about you. YOU banned me before for posting hacking pictures. THERE WAS NO RULE AGAINST IT! YOU MADE THE RULE AFTER I HAD TO CONTACT THE WIKI STAFF TO SAY IT WASN"T IN THE RULES! YOU BANNED ME FOR A UNJUST REASON JUST TO PROVE A POINT! I don't care if this will get me banned on this account, I have proxys that I can set up until my message is heard. This can be considered childish but you don't listen. You never have. Ban me forever I don't care. I have a new reason not to quit, to get my message heard. The community is dying and I have a fix but when I tell people what they are doing wrong I get called mean and stupid. Until people actually LISTEN then the community will die off. Ever since the drought the communtiy has sucked and the only person who I was friends with was RG. Everybody left and until I fix the community, I won't leave. I am not leaving this game worse than I came in.
It's possible that other admins just simply weren't on.
I'm not on all day all the time.
Someone would have eventually saw it and done something. You have to be patient. I put faith into the other admins that they can handle issues on their own and if a large or major issue pops up that needs all of us, then they can e-mail us. The admins at the time banned you fairly. We realized that putting up hacked pictures that wasn't released officially was wrong. I know we warned you about it. So we blocked you from editing for a while and then added that rule about it. I have listened but I still have to keep in mind Wikia and Fusion Fall Wiki policies, rules and regulations, AND the fact that this is a game wiki that puts up confirmed information by a person who was actually working on the game. Instead of being rude to people, just calmly say, "That isn't allowed because -Insert reason why here-" or "I suggest you do _______ instead of _____." I get that you want to make this community better but being rude to others isn't going to help.
You just simply don't qualify to be an admin. You're ignorant and don't respect another person's opinion about something. You do not ask to be an admin. You are nominated to be an admin by another person. Asking just makes it seem as though you're immature and not actually ready.
